Vendavo Summit 2011: What a Thrill

By now, you may have seen the press release about the success of our latest Vendavo Summit. As the release says, it was our biggest and best event ever – but to me, seeing this event grow and evolve over the years has been intensely gratifying. Our customers continue to share their successes, which is always exhilarating. As I listened this year, it struck me just how universal the applicability and impact of price management has proven to be.

Three hundred participants from diverse B2B industries such as high tech, manufacturing, process, distribution and life sciences were there, and across the board we saw high levels of enthusiasm. Those who had yet to start the journey were eager to start; those already on the path were engaging with the presenters and peer companies to determine their next steps to improve pricing.

Despite the pressures on the world economy in the last couple years, I am proud Vendavo has been able to continue investing, growing, and moving the pricing space forward. With the economic upturn we’re now starting to see – and with the strong pull from customers, prospects, and partners – we are excited to be redoubling our efforts and creating even more opportunities for our customers to realize the benefits of world-class pricing.

For those who attended, thank you again for your attendance and invaluable contributions. For me personally, Summit 2011 was a fantastic experience. Hard to imagine a better event, but I’m looking forward to being proved wrong in 2012!

    Edward Gorenshteyn has over 8 years of experience spanning marketing, strategy, project management and consulting. Prior to Vendavo, he worked as a BPM consultant and business analyst implementing process automation and CRM projects for companies in specialty chemicals and healthcare. Edward worked on the E-Prescribing (eRx) initiative at Blue Shield of CA, implementing system updates to automate prescribing operations and launching programs to drive eRx adoption among key California physicians groups. At Vendavo, Edward serves as Director of Product Marketing. Edward earned bachelors degrees in Political Science and Slavic Studies at University of California at Santa Barbara and an MBA degree with an emphasis in Marketing Management from Leavey School of Business at Santa Clara University.
